What first brought you to IET®?
In 2003, I saw a flyer in my Health Food Store to learn IET. I was immediately drawn to it as I have been working with angels and alternative energy work from a very young age. I called the teacher, Lynn Neilson and said I would like a session first and then I will enroll in IET Basic. The session was amazing, Lynn became my wonderful friend until she passed away in 2015 and I am so grateful that I was guided to this path.
How long have you practiced IET and tell us about your journey in the modality?
I was on the fast path as I took IET Basic, Intermediate, Advanced and IET Master-Instructor within a year. I had already been doing energy work as I was taking many alternative courses, going to retreats and of course diligently working on my own self-healing.
When I became an IET Master-Instructor and Reiki Master-Teacher in 2003, I did not want to teach to adults as I thought I would be criticized and judged so I chose to teach to Kids instead. I am very creative so it was always fun to teach Kids with their pure innocence and openness. After 2 years, adults were asking me to teach so I reluctantly started teaching and have never looked back since.
If you are a practitioner of other modalities, tell us about them and what do you find unique about IET?
I am a practitioner and teacher of HolyFire/Usui Reiki, Therapeutic Touch and completed courses in Theta Healing, Access Consciousness, Assemblage Point Therapy, Light Language and so many more courses in the alternative field.
What I really love about IET is the simple technique of working with the IET Cellular Memory Map and the deep clearing of energy blockages that result from deeply suppressed cellular memories. The technique is simple but so powerful and of course I feel very connected with the 9 Healing Angels when I do this work.
Tell us about the feedback you have gotten from those you have taught or provided sessions for.
Everyone who has had sessions or taken classes with me say that this technique is so powerful and they receive healing, insights and transformations in a very short time.
Please share a special highlight during your experience with IET.
I can’t remember ONE special highlight because there are so many. All I can say is that when I give a session or hold a class, I feel that I am transported to another dimension that is filled with love, peace and beauty and I am forever grateful and humble to be doing this work and being of service to others.
How has your work in IET benefited you personally?
Being an empath and coming from a dysfunctional family, my self-healing journey began in my early teens I always felt connected to angels and a higher power. It was the late 60’s and early 70’s so I felt secluded and just read every self-help and alternative book that I could get my hands on. I eventually met like-minded people and we formed meditation groups and invited teachers from all over the world to teach us energy work, such as chakra balancing, healing with crystals and sound, spiritual psychotherapy, aromatherapy, herbs, shamanic studies, and more. In 2003, I decided it was time to receive some Certificates so Reiki and IET were shown on my path. I am happy to announce that in November 2019, I became an IET TRAINER and I when I looked back on my IET Basic Manual from 2003, which was one of my goals.
IET is definitely one of the modalities that has helped me get some very deep issues out of my tissues for good!
