What first brought you to IET®?
By 1999, I had left my full-time work as an Information Assistant in Labour Law. I had also trained in Ki Massage, BioEnergy, Reflexology, Reiki, On-Site Massage and Emotional Freedom Technique. I taught Magnified Healing. I was also facilitating workshops called “Deep Relaxation and Healing” in Ireland and in London, U.K. As I was not making a living from working in this area, I said a prayer to God in my Garden as follows: “I have left my job, spent £7000 in training courses and I am not making a living. Please let me have a ‘way of life’ where I can be of service to people and make a living.” In the meantime, I will refrain from advertising, I will attend to my garden, as I am now completely handing it over to You.” Within weeks of my request, I met Jim Zarnowski from the USA, a Master-Instructor of IET. I invited him to my Centre in Cork to teach IET and he accepted. In October 1999, I trained in IET with Jim at my Centre in Cork and prepared to travel to the USA to take the IET Master-Instructor training with the Founder, Stevan J. Thayer,
How long have you practiced IET and tell us about your journey in the modality?
I have practiced IET for over 21 years. I trained in the Master-Instructor level with the Founder, Stevan J. Thayer in October 1999. In January 2000, I began teaching IET in Cork and I was invited to teach in other counties throughout Ireland. At the end of 2000, I was invited to teach in Belgium, Antwerp, and Brussels, where I taught on several occasions. After one such class, I made a phone call from the class to Stevan J. Thayer, requesting him to travel to Brussels to teach the Masters IET level. He agreed and there was a cheer from my class! I was also invited to teach in Spain.
During a holiday visit to Perth W.A. to see my son, Justin, at the end of 2001, I visited a marketplace. There I had an On-Site Massage. After that, the therapist asked me what work I did. I briefly explained IET to him. He immediately replied, “why don’t you ring Jill Ilott, she is the Director of Alternate Therapies in Western Australia.” I subsequently arranged to meet Jill and as a result of her next Holistic Fair, my first Australia IET class was arranged in Perth in May 2002.
I continued teaching IET in Ireland and Europe. In the spring of 2012, when the miracles of IET treatments began to spread to the East Coast of Australia, I was invited to teach in Byron Bay, New South Wales. I gladly accepted and between October and December, I taught 19 people between Perth and New South Wales.
If you are a practitioner of other modalities, tell us about them and what do you find unique about IET?
Before IET came into my life, I had trained in Ki Massage, Reflexology, Bio Energy, Reiki, Chi Nei Tsang, On-Site Massage, Vortex Healing, Emotional Freedom Technique and Magnified Healing® teaching levels 1 and 3. I find IET unique for many reasons: suppressed emotions in the cellular memory of the body and the human energy field, cause physical, emotional, mental and spiritual blockages – causing illness. Because the Angels gently release these suppressed emotions from each of the primary cellular memory areas from past lives and this life, IET is unique. Clients have received healing from depression, psoriasis, bulimia, migraine, severe pain, viral infections and other ailments. I find IET unique in that it gently releases suppressed emotions from the cellular memory from this lifetime and past lives, allowing the body, mind and spirit to heal on a very deep level.
Tell us about the feedback you have gotten from those you have taught or provided sessions for.
The feedback from clients is positive, and often miraculous! Ailments that were not resolved previously with other therapies were now being resolved. Clients were so happy with the result that they often booked the IET training with me so that they could work on themselves and their families. This often led them to work with IET as a career.
Please share a special highlight during your experience with IET.
There are many special highlights! Firstly, healing for myself and also healing for my family. Even if one’s family does not request healing, healing oneself, is like a wave that moves out when dropping a pebble in a pond. The ripples go out to the edge of the pond. In fact, the ripples spread worldwide! When we raise our own vibration, we raise the vibration of the entire Planet! Also, of course, there were highlights by visiting other countries, meeting so many diverse people, races and religions.
A particular highlight was what transpired after my interview with Bay PM Radio and sharing the Angelic Heartlink with the audience. Having trained eight people in Byron Bay and returned to teach in Perth, I was again invited to return to Byron Bay to teach another class of seven. What began from a class in NSW of eight, turned into the training of 19 people between East and West Australia.
How has your work in IET benefited you personally?
In ways that I never imagined! Now coming up to my 79th birthday, I am healthier, happier and very much at peace with myself. In spite of life’s challenges, I still love life and my work. I can cope with any trials and tribulations that come along with greater ease and acceptance. I give thanks for IET in my life and the ability to share it with so many people through private sessions and through teaching – Worldwide. I refer to the motto: “give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish, you feed him for life.” It is my mission in life to fulfill Angel Ariel’s message “to heal the world one heart at a time”.
