We get many questions about our philosophy about Trademarks and Copyrights, and how to honor our intellectual property.
IET is an energy therapy system owned by the COB which is a self-governing organizational body that oversees the IET teachings worldwide.
Integrated Energy Therapy and IET are Trademarks owned by The COB and all manuals and products are protected by copyrights. The words IET and Integrated Energy Therapy cannot be translated into another language.
A trademark is a word, phrase, symbol or design, or a combination of words, phrases, symbols or designs, that identifies and distinguishes the source of the goods of one party from those of others.
A copyright protects an original artistic or literary work. The Center of Being has both trademarks and copyrights.
Rebranding is a marketing strategy in which a new name, term, symbol, design or combination thereof is created for an established brand with the intention of developing a new, different identity in the mind of consumers.
Recommended Trademark Guidelines from the Center of Being, Inc.
All products produced and sold by The Center of Being, Inc. are protected by copyright laws and must not be reproduced in any way by any means. Here are some simple guidelines that we ask you to follow:
♦ Do not copy or reproduce any Center of Being publication or any part of it (books, quick reference guides, angel images, workbooks, manuals, or audio products) or post them on YouTube, social media, share them with your students or clients or sell copies.
♦Do not share angel images. (There are approved images on the website for your use)
♦Do not use AI to edit any copyrighted images or materials.
♦Do not create PowerPoint or any other electronic or manual presentations of IET classes, Healing Angels, or Steps materials.
♦ Do not record (audio or video) any of your IET Classes, Healing Angels or Steps classes, webinars, presentations, sessions, or calls. IET Master Instructors are empowered to present IET classes, Healing Angels, and Steps material via lecture, but they are not permitted to record or reproduce their presentation by any means or methods.
♦ Do not offer any social media, YouTube or other means of live recordings that include any class, event, technique or process (Heartlink, 5 Minute Empowerment, Steps, WAG). Not even short clips, hand positions or sessions etc.
♦ Do not record (audio or video) any of your IET Classes, events, calls. Do not allow students to record. ALL electronics should be off in class.
♦ Do not record or allow recordings (audio or video) at any expo, seminar, or promotional events.
♦ Do not share any information that is copyrighted through any means, written, vocal, recorded, live in person, live online, or seminars. Not even the Heartlink.
♦ Do not share hand positions, integration point locations, cellular memory imprints outside of IET classes.
♦ Do not rebrand IET classes, Healing Angels, or Steps to Transformation classes or processes by wrapping them within a curriculum and/or advertising them under a different name. Do not include your proprietary work into any IET class or event.
♦Do not include IET classes, techniques, processes, messages in Retreats or Events within your own proprietary curriculum. (EG. You cannot require IET class/event participants to join and pay for non-IET portions of the retreat.)
♦If your IET Teaching Retreat is more than the standard teaching agenda the following requirements apply:
- You must submit an agenda and get written permission to use IET in the retreat.
- IET class/event material is separate from the rest of the retreat.
- IET class or event pricing is separate from lodging and food.
♦Do not use a different name other than the official IET classes or events names within this document and they are on the LearnIET website.
♦Do not create new names of classes, events, or groups you offer that have IET in the name.
As an IET® Master-Instructor, IET® MI Trainer or IET® Practitioner, you may use the Integrated Energy Therapy® and IET® trademarked names in your advertising and literature. You may put the Integrated Energy Therapy® and IET® names on your business cards, flyers, brochures, etc. We ask that you include the registered service mark symbol ® as part of the names.
We require that you include the registered trademark symbol ® as part of the names, including both names, the Center of Being, Inc and www.learniet.com. EX. Integrated Energy Therapy® and IET®, owned by The Center of Being, Inc (www.LearnIET.com).
You may not use the words Integrated Energy Therapy® and IET® as all or part of the name of a website.
(e.g. www.IntegratedEnergyTherapy.net, or www.bestIET.com, or www.IETforKids.com).
You may, of course, use the Integrated Energy Therapy or IET names within the pages of your website itself.
We require that you include the registered trademark symbol ® as part of the names, including both names, the Center of Being, Inc and www.learniet.com. EX. Integrated Energy Therapy® and IET®, owned by The Center of Being, Inc (www.LearnIET.com).
You may not use the Integrated Energy Therapy® and IET® names on merchandise that you create for sale or to give away (e.g. books, posters, audio programs, or video programs).
You may not use the Integrated Energy Therapy® and IET® names in training classes that you create. For example you are not allowed to create a class like Crystals for IET® or Tuning Forks for Integrated Energy Therapy®.

Q1. Can I make a T-shirt with the IET Logo on it, for my own use?
A1. Yes, as long as it is for your own use, and you are not selling them.
Q2. Can I make a copy of the nine Angels of the Energy Field angel pictures to hand out at my class (either full size or shrunk down onto one page)?
A2. No, this would infringe on our copyright. Doesn’t matter if it’s color or black/white copies.
Q3. Can I make a paper copy of one of the Quick Reference Guides to hand out at a class?
A3. No, this would infringe on our copyright.
Q4. Can I put the IET logo on my flyers and business cards?
A4. Yes, we encourage that.
Q5. Can I put a copy of any of the Angels of the Energy Field, or Ariel Beaming Hands images on my website?
A5. No, you can only use the IET logo – none of the other images.
Q6. Can I put a copy of any of the Angels of the Energy Field, or Ariel Beaming Hands images on my Facebook page?
A6. No. If you are a Master-Instructor, you can use any of the approved images on the “approved images” page.
Q7. Can I make a copy of a few of the pages of one of the manuals to hand out in my class? How about a page
from the website?
A7. No, you should simply reference the pages in the manual when you are teaching. Most of the website content
is copy written. Contact us if you have a specific request.
Q8. Can I call my website www.IETinIreland.com?
A8. No, that infringes on our trademark.
Q9. Can I make a PowerPoint presentation of the IET material I am going to teach?
A9. No, sorry, that would infringe on the copywritten material being copied into slide form.
Q10. Can I share the prayer of invitations on social media?
A10. No, sorry, that would infringe on the copywritten material.
