My friend Bonny Cheryl told me about Integrated Energy Therapy® about ten days after my soulmate dog, Chelsea, transitioned after a courageous battle with Chronic Renal Failure. I was struggling with the initial stages of grieving, I was exhausted after providing 24/7 hospice care, and I was having trouble understanding the connection I intuitively knew was there between my experiencing traumatic events and my healthy dog developing CRF less than two months later. I believe that IET helped me regain the balance I needed in order to begin to make sense of it all and heal, and I am eternally grateful to IET Master-Instructor Jayne Milak-Dempsey and her angelic Golden Retriever Jacob for helping me during one of the most difficult times of my life.
I never intended to become a Master-Instructor when I found IET. I was looking for peace. I’d taken training in a number of alternative wellness modalities, I’d already been attuned to angelic energy as an Igilism Master, and I didn’t feel the need to learn another way to facilitate energy therapy sessions. I said, “This is the last class I’m going to take” after each IET class I took. Two months after finding IET, I was driving to Rochester, NY, to take Master-Instructor training with Stevan Thayer. My soul knew something my brain did not.

believe that IET and I have come together to help me help the animals in our
world and the people who love them. Chelsea’s life and ultimately fatal
illness taught me how important it is for each one of us to keep ourselves
clear and balanced. I believe our beloved animals will take on our pain and
even die for us if they feel we need them to do that. That is high service,
indeed, but I believe we could provide even higher service to them if we
keep ourselves in balance and allow them to enjoy their wonderful lives.
My Chelsea is my nearest angel. I’ve learned a great deal since we met in 1993, and I keep her spirit in front of me each time I teach an IET for Pets class, each time I work with an animal, and each time I call her in as one of my guides to begin an IET session. From the child who was terrified of all animals to the adult whose life has now been devoted to their service, I have traveled a path that has led me into my heart. Chelsea wouldn’t have it any other way. |

I encourage all IET Master-Instructors who love animals to donate Basic IET and IET for Pets training to people who do animal rescue. I have taught free classes for the people who do rescue work for the Garden State Norwegian Elkhound Club. These are the people who evaluate and place abandoned and traumatized dogs in new homes. The students pay for the textbooks; I donate my time. I feel good to have helped people facilitate these traumatized, wary, and unloved animals.
I also encourage people who adopt rescue animals to take IET training. It normally takes a long time for a rescue animal to feel secure in a new home. I feel that calling in the Healing Angels of the Energy Field can help them adapt and thrive much more quickly.
