ESOTERIC PHILOSOPHY
Ruth is a practitioner and master teacher of Integrated Energy Therapy(IET). She is also a Reiki Master and practitioner of Esoteric Healing which is based on Alice A. Bailey's channeled writings. Ruth has 22 years experience in the alternative health field as a nationally certified massage therapist, with additional certifications in Craniosacral/ Myofascial Integration, Prenatal/Postpartum Massage, Oncology Massage, Ayurvedic Therapies, Breathwork, and La Stone Therapy.
Ruth believes that a human being must be considered holistically, as a union of mind, body and soul, and therefore the emphasis is not on the "illness" but on the whole person and their inner needs. Prevention is the first and most important form of medicine. Her focus of working with the " energetic medicines" assists her in balancing the systems and subtle energies of the body, which in turn promotes optimal health and well-being.
She incorporates sound healing into her
sessions using Himalayan bowls, tuning forks and other vibrational instruments
which assist in balancing and harmonizing the energies of the body.
Using a synthesis of all her trainings and experience Ruth's focus is to assist
the body, mind and spirit IN....TO BALANCE reaching the center or core of the
body, the place where deeper healing begins.
A current area of focus for her is working with people living with cancer. By adapting techniques, modifying pressure or switching modalities individuals can receive bodywork appropriate to their medical condition. Each session is given with permission of their doctor and in a very conscious manner based on where an individual is in their journey.
