Michelle McCarthy, RMT, IARP, IET-MI has been involved with energy techniques since Reiki saved her life in 1996. A Certified Master Groomer for many years - she closed her grooming salon in 1999, and turned her life over to energy healing techniques. Today, Michelle teaches Basic, Intermediate and Advanced levels of IET, all levels of Reiki and maintains a private practice seeing clients. In her private practice, Michelle combines both Reiki and IET and has found these to be a powerful combination.

Her own life is a testimony to the power of the techniques and honors those who choose to step into healing as their life's journey. She believes firmly that each individual has the power to heal and feels especially blessed to help both her clients and her students embark on their own path to self-healing. In addition to her private practice and teaching schedule, Michelle is a Hospice Volunteer, a volunteer for a local pediatric palliative care program, a Board member of COVR (Coalition of Visionary Resources) and a distributor for The Amethyst BioMat. Her written Reiki and IET articles have been published on various on-line newsletters, and as a result, she has received local media attention via television and newspapers. |

What's new for 2009?
If you've been waiting to take Integrated Energy Therapy - you are invited to Join us on April 4 and 5 for a Basic and Intermediate weekend. Saturday April 4 is Basic IET - Sunday is Intermediate - Michelle will be assisting Stevan Thayer in February at Kripalu - for a Basic weekend - the class on Sunday will be open to those students from Kripalu as well as those who take part in the Basic class on April 4. This class will fill quickly as a result. Saturday May 2 we will enjoy a day playing in the Advanced level of IET -- preparing interested attendees for the Master Instructor Class to be held the weekend of June 20 and 21! Michelle will also host an intensive Weds June 17 through Friday June 19 (Basic, Intermediate and Advanced) for those wishing to take part in the Master Instructor training on June 20 and 21.
Michelle would be happy to travel to Florida or South Carolina to teach classes. If interested, please contact her.

The 3-day intensive (June 17-19) is open to all. Taking this class will enable you to take the Master Instructor training being held on June 20 and 21 (with Karen Puglia).
