In 1979, Maria Peterson graduated from
the College of St. Catherine with honors in English. She promptly
got married and began raising a family of four children. After her
second child died from a cancerous brain tumor in 1998, the angels
told her, “There is so much pain in the world. You can help heal
it.”
She then began her studies with various holistic, teachers and
healers: Harold McCoy at the Ozark Research Institute in Arkansas,
Stevan Thayer at the Center of Being in
NY, Billie Topa Tate at the Mystical
Sciences Institute in Chicago and the American Society of Dowsers.
In December of 1998, her inner teenager pushed her into taking a
risk and with only $1200 in her pocket,
she opened her office, Circle of Quiet.
Her philosophy is to create a place of safety and learning, where
people can begin to know and follow their own
inner divine wisdom to create healing in their lives.
After her divorce in 2002, she moved her
office to Delano, where she works out of her home and lives with
her youngest son. In the Fall of 2003 she became an IET Master-InstructorTrainer.
She continues her holistic studies with Shari Wagner of
Soulspeak (Shamanism) and Bennie
LeBeau, a Shoshone
Elder (Earth Healing). Her most recent accomplishment is
becoming a grandmother. How sweet it is!!!
