About Kathryn elaine Kathryn Elaine is an artist, educator and Integrated Energy Therapy Master-Instructor whose life's journey has led her on a remarkable adventure of healing, learning, teaching, creating, and celebrating the joyous experience of being alive! Although Kathryn has been certified as a Mari-El Healer since 1987 and as an Integrated Energy Therapy practitioner since 1994, her primary focus has been on teaching and creating art works that express and support the journey of evolutionary transformation. To this end, she created the illustrations for both the Basic and Intermediate level Integrated Energy Therapy training manuals as well as numerous other drawings and paintings designed to assist the viewer in the transmutation of lower level negative thoughts and emotions into higher vibrational perceptions and experiences. Based on the same neo-Pythagorean and neo-Platonic sources as alchemy and the Cabala (1), Kathryn uses symbol, color, line and form to evoke a resonance with higher vibrational frequencies of energy that transmute darkness in it’s myriad of forms into infinite light. The alchemical intent of Kathryn’s work supports the development of a reflective practice balancing spiritual intuition and visionary insights with intellectual and practical knowledge as we come to understand and take responsibility for the co-creation of our experience. Kathryn views her art making as an expression of the spiritual journey we experience through living our lives and creates images that record, envision, and support our transition from merely surviving, to the triumphant experience of joy. Utilizing the alchemical power of pictures and symbols to work within the subconscious mind to produce positive results, her work is designed to facilitate the viewer’s growth and transformation.
