Dr. Stone is a bilingual psychotherapist, international speaker, teacher, author, potter, and musician.  Her healing journey intensified when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1991.  Her hands-on-healing training started with three levels of  Reiki in the tradition of The Radiance Technique™ and led her to Integrated Energy Therapy, which focuses on release of disturbing emotional patterns.  She has also learned a broad array of energy psychotherapies for her private practice,  including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Thought Field Therapy (TFT), Seemorg Matrix Work™ ,  Tapas Acupressure Technique (TAT), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Be Set Free Fast and NMT: The Feinberg Technique.   She studied Thought Energy Synchronization Therapies with Gregory Nicosia, Ph.D., and is trained at the diagnostic level.  She has been teaching Thought Field Therapy nationally for several years.  (See her web page for TFT trainings.)

Barbara Stone is a workshop presenter, public speaker, and psychotherapist in private practice, fluent in both English and Spanish.  The topic of healing is very close to her heart, as she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1991.  Her first book, Cancer As Initiation: Surviving the Fire (1994, Open Court Publishing Company) is the autobiographical account of her holistic approach to recovery from this illness.  She has been on the Board of Directors for The Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP) and is an Approved Certification Consultant and Diplomate, Comprehensive Energy Psychology.  An avid  musician, potter, gardener, and grandmother, she holds a doctorate in clinical psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Carpinteria, California and is licensed as an Independent Social Worker in the state of Ohio.
